Navratri Day 7

The 7th day of Navratri  (Maha Saptami) is dedicated to the worship of Maa Kaalaratri, the most intense form of Goddess Durga. Parvati is believed to have had her fair skin removed in order to kill the demons Sumba and Nisumba. She is known to destroy ignorance and rid the universe of darkness.

Day 7 Puja

In her seventh form, Karlratri Devi is depicted as a fierce, dark-skinned goddess who carries a dagger to fight evil. She protects believers from evil and helps overcome selfishness.
